The church's timeline showcases key milestones in its growth. Regular worship began at the Desoto Club, leading to the establishment of the Community Life Church (CLC) with 171 active members. A larger sanctuary was built to accommodate the flourishing congregation, and a second congregation began worship at the Ponce Center, officially chartering with 121 members. By 2021, both CLC and CJoy faced declining membership due to COVID-19. A task force was formed in 2022 to explore merging the two congregations, which culminated in a successful vote for integration in 2023. They began worshipping together on Pentecost, marking a new chapter in their journey.
